The club is located about a mile west of Cowes and is characterised by strong tidal flows which favour sailing Sport mode. It used to be a regular on our touring circuit and has been the host of many Sprint 15 Sport National Championships. More recently many of the local Sprint 15 fleet have moved on to sail Shadows but a few remain and new members are always welcome.

Ferry Travel

If you do not want to sail across, Red Funnel Ferries (tel 0870 444 8898) sail from Southampton to East Cowes.

Alternatively Wight Link (tel 0870 582 7744) sail from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth.

Camping

Camping on the green next to the club house is currently causing the Club problems with the local council. However it may be possible to camp next to the Sprint 15 boat park. Call Carl Blenkinsop on 07973 503319 for further details.
