Whitstable Yacht Club

Whitstable is the place to go if you want to get away from the big smoke. Just 60 minutes from London down the M2 motorway, you will find perfect sailing waters - the prevailing wind blasts uninterrupted across Seasalter Marshes. Combined with one of England's largest expanses of shallows this produces flat water with little tide.

From WYC you can launch at all states of the tide to explore the attractions around the Swale Estuary and sail to one of the several nearby clubs or pubs.
