The Dart 15 winter traveller series was concluded at Grafham on Sunday 13 March. All 5 events were sailed and 42 sailors took part and 15 qualified with 3 races completed. The events were at Stewartby, Beaver, Draycote, Queen Mary and Grafham in a variety of wind conditions.
Paul Smith won the series with 1,1,2 from George Carter (1,1,7) and Bob Carter (3,3,3). Smith did not have to sail the last 2 events as he could not be beaten. His case was strengthened when George Carter (the only sailor who could beat him) had a rigging failure and dropped his mast at Queen Mary. The fleet now rest for a few weeks until the Summer Series kicks off at Thorpe Bay on 23/24 April.
