Boat packed up after good days sailing with Steve Handy and Ian Parlhurst. ready for off now on Friday evening after week at work. Long term forecast looks like decent weather for the National Event.

Good to see Kevin has sent in his entry form. I am looking forward to seeing everybody again soon.

Beaver now have the mighty Steve Hanby back in the nationals .

Should receive the tape from Hydesails in Fowey, Cornwall tomorrow I phoned a few Hyde distributors and these ones were the most helpful.

Ian and I was competing in a 10 hour sailing event at Beaver on Saturday with some pretty strong winds as well, needless to say not many sailed on Sunday.

Thanks Ian I have contacted Mike and I am taking it on Monday, looks like the old sail for a few weeks.

Does anybody know how to repair a sail, mine at the weekend ripped just infront of the batten pocket next to the bolt rope. Idon't really want to buy a new one yet. I real need it for the weekend as I am sailing a 10 hour race.

Also see 1451 is for sale on ebay, says it won the northern champs at Beaver in 1992 by Richard Hanby, any body know who owns the boat at the moment?
