The Lottery winner [Andrew Hannah]

Andrew Hannah replied: This reminds me of the story about a man who won the National Lottery jackpot. One of his friends asked him what he was going to do. The winner said, "I am going to visit the Canary Islands, because I have have always been interested in canaries". His friend said, &...

One off Sprint 15 mainsail (seconds) [Brian Phipps]

Brian Phipps wrote: Thought this would be the fairest way to reach every Sprint 15 class sailor. Anyone looking for an early Christmas present may want to take up on this one off Sprint 15 mainsail (seconds) Blue trim. Gordon is lieing low [Bob]

Bob replied:

Since I seem to be able to add comments at the moment - I notice that Golden Goldstone is lieing low at present. I bet that means he is not coming to Beaver.
'Ow Much should be back from the British Virgin Islands too!

Close to the truth on both counts [Bob]

Bob replied:

Hi Erling - this is closer to the truth than you could realize. I can only add comments on this chat page intermittently. You and Frank have been saved several barbed comments as a result.

TOP TIP for Saundersfoot [George Stephen]

George Stephen replied: I've been to both the previous Saundersfoot Nationals. The second time I went I took a very tatty "shopping bike", so I could ride the kilometre (perhaps I exaggerate...) from the "big cove/small beach" at the north end of the bay to the Club at the South...

1994 Nationals at Saundersfoot [Martin Searle]

Martin Searle replied: Eamonn, I attended the nationals there in 1994 and it was a great week. Posting problems [Andrew Hannah]

Andrew Hannah replied:

I also, had a problem posting. I had some computer updates pending. Once I had updated my machine, I was able to make a post, eg on a thread around 12th august.

I don't know if updating had anything to do with the problems we had here.

Andrew.

2007 Nationals [Bob]

Bob replied: Hi Eamonn, At Saundesfoot the trailers either go at the very top of the beach or in corners of the carpark near the sailing club. The boats go on the beach. We don't bother to to tie them down (it's mid summer) If there was gales forecast we would drop the masts. The cruising programme...
