Phwelli or Saundersfoot

My vote would be for Phwelli the main reason being I havn't got a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get me out of the sand at Saundersfoot. Also Stuart Pierce might buy another VW to add to the entertainment at Phwelli. Phwelli would just win, both were good eccept for getting my car stuck in the sand at Sau...

Holding on the line

After spending 2 days driving Brian Phipps around in a rib during one of our Weekws ends at Shanklin, he is the guy to talk to about holding on the line, managed to get some of our chaps to hold for around 3 to 4 minutes on a 30 to 40 meter line, and for for John Shenton thats good. Good Idea

Hey that sounds like a good idea, as long as I don't have to drive the safety boat 25 miles to Shanklin with Stuart giving me grief all the way.
Let Simon do the work and we will learn something.

Thanks again Brian

Tiller Bar

Hi Steve , have managed to press out the 2 inserts and have got some one with the equipment to drill the 3 vertical holes. So if I can get the inserts back all should be OK. Yes I agree it would have been easier and more cost efective in the long run if they had gone down the NEW tiller bar route. C...

Tiller Bar

Hi Bob it's Charlie s boat 834, and there are plastic inserts at each end. Thought that they were the normal thing.

Will look into it some more, will also try and get a picture to you.

Thanks Chris

Old style Tiller Bar/Connecting Bar

On the old style Tiller Bar there is at each end a plastic insert that fits through the aluminum bar the long pin on the tiller arm then fits in to it.

The question is, is the plastic insert a push fit or what.

Thanks
Chris

English Dictionary

In Ervins case it isn't the English Dictionary but more the Yachts & Yachting Dictionary, just a bit of bed time reading.
