Tramp material

I need to repair a hole in my trampoline, little hole plus contact from my knee has resulted in big hole :( I've got access to an industrial sewing machine but does anybody know who makes the grey material or a source to buy some from?
Thanks

Re: Pimping my ride

Even for you Andy I think you'll get out sailed in the light stuff when up against mono hulls, it's a cat thing :) Regarding the downhaul the rules now say you are allowed a three to one assembly with cleating and turning blocks, but other than that it got to be as per the original manual, here's so...

Search function not working properly??

A question for Martin Searle I guess, has the search function been changed recently as it is only bringing up relatively recent posts

Re: Battens

I've looked at my top batten and it appears to be an original one rather than a long one that has been cut down. It was suggested to me at the weekend by a fellow Dart owner that I might not have enough tension on the top batten so that it is lying limp rather than popping across, I'll try it when I...

Battens

Can anybody tell me whether the top batten should curve when the sail is powered up? I've noticed that when sailing all the other battens take on a
nice curve but the top one stays virtually straight and does not look right to me.

Thanks

Re: Training Weekend - Seasalter 2/3 April

Thanks to all the people involved in the training weekend at Seasalter in particular Nick, Steve and Kevin. I've learnt lots, still need to practice loads but it has confirmed that I made the right decisions getting a Dart :D .

Thanks

What makes a good mainsheet?

I'm in need of a new mainsheet for my Dart, are there any particular brands or sizes that work best l? Not sure if it makes a difference or not but my blocks are the original type.

Thanks

The Killer Shrimp story http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/news/123209.aspx

It looks like the ban at Grafham has been lifted this evening subject to all craft leaving the site being washed down first :)

Are you one of the new bods at Stewartby?

Karl
I Joined last September, have been sailing a Graduate up until now, just needed something a bit more exciting to sail and hopefully I will join in with the racing soon.
