Hi, Couple of things to try if not already, 1) sit right at the back of the boat with your bum over the rear beam housing that drags the stern and lifts the bow allowing it to get blown away from the wind to stop getting in irons. Hi Martin, the neck at the back of the cover is so you can hang the mainshet system from the halyard if you want to , may be overnight at a regatta, it holds the halyard away from the mast. You can then run a light line from thehang point on the cover up through the halyard ring to hold the cover up...
