Thanks to all at Grafham for a great day's racing. Apologies for missing the prize giving - I was packing my boat up in the sunshine unaware of the time.
Does anyone know what the inside of a Sprint 15 hull looks like?
Apart from being curious about what I cannot see, I am keen to know if there are there stringers/ribs/bulkheads in the hull (or for that matter deck) section and if there are, can water run freely from the bow to the stern.
A few Sprints racing at Llandudno sounds great to me, whether as part of some other event or otherwise. I suppose fixing the date is going to be the only problem.
I have just seen this post (a little late I know - just spending a bit of time perusing!!) If a few boats were interested I would certainly attend, official TT or otherwise. Llandudno is well known for appealing to the more mature end of society so it should suit our fleet well. (I'll be in trouble ...
Many thanks for the comprehensive replies to my question. I think I will remove the front and middle toe loop and keep the rear one (it does not get in the way in Sprint mode) and then apply grip tape to the sides. After my first "bow bury" I may get back to you!! I fully intend to get to ...
I have never sailed in Sport mode and so have removed foot loops from my previous boats.
Before I do the same again on ny latest boat, which foot loops are needed when "Sporting"- just the back one or the middle as well? I presume the forward loop is used when sailing two up.
