Sorry for the delay in getting information out about the Sport Nationals. Have been a bit preoccupied.

Please let me know if you spot any SNAFUs.

Fiona and Nigel will be in charge on the water. There will be 7 races over 3 days with rectangular courses.

The event is on Saturday 21st - Monday 23rd September 2019 at Yaverland, in Sandown Bay on the permanently sunny and warm Isle of Wight.

Ferry tickets from Red Funnel are £100 return using the code SEPTSPRINT on their web site.

There is discounted accommodation on the event page: https://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=188. There is also camping available on site.

You can enter here: https://www.sprint15.com/sports-nationals-entries.php or use the paper entry form if you are a Luddite.

We are now allowing single day entry for £30. You can choose any day. Just enter in the normal way but leave a comment saying single day and just pay £30.

If you want to enter on the Friday at the club I suggest you wait until the next day or come up to the Culver Haven Inn.

We are up to 33 entries. We are still taking entries but they are now £80 or £60 for juniors. It would make my life much easier if people can enter using the on-line form before Saturday.

All to play for going into day 3 of the Nationals with Hector and Paul both needing two wins to knock Fraser off the top of the podium.

Very close up to the last race with Fraser winning ahead of Paul to take the Sprint 15 Sport National Championship. Future national champion Hector was third.

There was plenty of wind and waves in Sandown Bay all three days, Really good event, as you expect with Fiona and Nigel in charge.

Sadly in my Y&Y report I forgot to mention Jan's boat sailing off without him after race 4. I have corrected this egregious error in the report on this site.

Thanks for mentioning that Liam!
I was intending to go out after bailing out one hull that was making the reach quite exciting ..
But thanks to Christine for helping.

And thanks to the Instow "Team Sherry" posse on Saturday night after the BBQ
Not sure it helped my sailing but it was a good night
