In the sermon from the vicar....

Adam was talking to his wife in the Garden of Eden (it's somewhere in Cornwall). On the 24th December, Eve asks Adam, 'What day is this'? Adam replies, 'You ought to know; it's Christmas, Eve'.

Merry Christmas to all Sprint sailors, present, past and those that aspire to sail one!

It is generally known that the twelve days of Christmas feature a number All-In handicap races. Burnham runs its Icicle race on 1st January. GWSC hosts its Grand Prix. Thorpe Bay has its Frozen Sheets race about the same time. But first off, is the Leigh SC's Brass Monkey race, held on Boxing Day.

Congratulations to the 2019 winner at Leigh SC, who was Daren Fitchew sailing Sprint 1642. Well done, Daren. Good to see a Sprint doing well in a handicap race. And your name engraved on the trophy.
