Nationals

Post by Charles »

Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation of the event. Great to squeeze it in during this difficult period. I bumped into GWYC Commodore and thanked him for their excellent organisation, I even let him off for the mediocre weather organising!

The class is doing well. We have managed to get 2 nationals together in the top ten in the UK. No other catamarans on the list so far.

It does help not needing crew.

And what's more:
Save for the Unicorns who had 9 boats at their event, The Sprint 15 Class is the only catamaran class to run a 2020 nationals never mind two!

Well she sent it to me so I am assuming she penned it.

Yes great attendances. A couple of classes did the same thing as us and held their Nationals at Grafham but their attendances were low. The Formula 18s got 12 taking part and the Dart 18 single handed nationals got 8.
Cheers
Bob
PS Good report Jenny. Where does she get the time?
PPS You over achieved with 4 races. 3 is enough to count as a Nationals these days.
