Stone TT and Stokes Bay TT - Entries Now Open!

Post by Jenny Ball »

Hi everyone

Keeping everything crossed - our first two Summer TTs are now confirmed, NORs are available and online entry is now open!

For both events - entries MUST be submitted in advance. There will be no entries on the day. This is so the host clubs can put the necessary Covid arrangements in place.

Please see the key information for both TTs below.
I have also attached a brief guide/screenshots which might assist with the respective online entry processes.

Sat 24th April - Stone SC, Essex
One day event, three races back to back. First start scheduled 11:30. Racebox startline.
Toilets will be open during the day, changing rooms closed. Hopefully a take away food service (not confirmed)
Onsite camping for self contained motorhomes/campervans on Friday night. (Club toilets will be closed overnight)
NOR is here: https://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=214
Online entry is here (check the guide first) - http://www.stonesc.org.uk/event/sprint- ... ting-1-day

22nd and 23rd May - Stokes Bay, Gosport
Two day event as part of their Cat Open. 6 races. First scheduled start 12 noon.
Sprint 15s will have our own start. Inverted P course (better fit with the other class courses).
Toilets will be open during the day, changing rooms closed. Hopefully a take away food service.
Stokes Bay have asked the council to permit camping in the adjacent field but the council have not yet confirmed.
NOR is here: https://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=216
Online entry is here: http://www.stokesbay-sc.co.uk/catamaran-open-meeting/
If you use Facebook, please check into the Cat Open Events Page for further updates: https://www.facebook.com/events/253120752826611

As always, both the Class Association and the host Clubs are closely following and monitoring government and RYA guidance on events, travel, accommodation etc. If that guidance changes, we will revisit TT arrangements.

Current RYA guidance is summarised in this great document:
https://www.rya.org.uk/SiteCollectionDo ... Return.pdf

So please get your entries coming in and very much look forward to seeing you soon.

Many thanks all!

The forum won't let me upload the online entry guide - but it will be included in the e-newsletter that will go out later today.

Thanks!

Two weeks until our first TT at Stone on Saturday 24th April!

Please show your support for Stone SC agreeing to host an event in these interesting times.

Three races back to back starting at 11:30am. Social distancing measures in place, toilets open (no changing rooms).

Entries are online and must be made in advance (no entries on the day).

NOR and online entry link are on the events page. (Create an account on the website first and then book your place).

Look forward to seeing you there!
