Draycote Winter TT

Post by George Love »

A big THANK YOU TO ALL "THE JAMES GANG" for organising such an excellent event yesterday in brisk winds and winter sun :D . The event has set the standard for 2011 and what a great start! Many thanks also to the safety guys who took my camera on the water to record the activities :) . I'll put a CD in the post to Pete shortly. I look forward to receiving a copy of the event report in due course and hope to see as many of you at Carsington in a few week's time when, hopefully we'll be fully de-iced up here in the frozen north!
Cheers & Laughter

Couldn't agree more yesterday was a great day out with some fantastic racing.
Many thanks to all those people who made the effort to attend - quite a few had travelled for a considerable distance.
For the race report please see the e-mail I have sent you George.
Rest assured we'll all be making an effort to come to Carsington.
Unfortunately the Carsington v Draycote team result is looking less than impressive - are you sure we actually agreed those rules?
Pete.

Do I detect, Pete, a note of resignation in your posting that, in the second round of the DWSC/CSC challenge, victory has again gone to CSC? I couldn't agree more :D If, on the other hand, you or the other members of the "James Gang" feel the need to resort to abacus and a full trawl of the results, I and my shipmates will, I'm sure, be delighted to enter in to more public discussion on the matter.
We are currently preparing our tactics to avoid the possibility that you may be planning to 'head us off at the pass and bushwhack us' at our home event in the third test - apologies for the mixed metaphors

Yes George you've seen through our first crude tactic of publishing confusing and gobbledegook results on the internet.
Apologies to all - I will ask the office to post the correct results.
Don't worry - the results handed out at the actual event were correct!
Pete.

Hi Peter,

Could you let me know when they have been updated, so I can enter the results into the series scoring system.

Thanks,
