Grafham this Sunday

Post by Mark Aldridge »

Folks.

Wind Guru is not playing game at the moment with relatively light winds scheduled on Sunday.

The good news is that the lake's @ 104% fill level, so there's the full 1600 acres + for us.

We are undergoing some structural work along the water's edge in front of the boat park. This means that there really only is the slipway area to launch and you are better off launching in pairs. Please allow enough time to rig and launch on Sunday and at lunch time, we'll need to pull the boats 'up the aisles' as it were!

GWSC are looking forward to seeing you all and I'm confident of a really strong turnout. Racing will be great whatever the weather and last weekend Tom Sandels (back from a knee op') cleared off out of sight only to be 'almost' reeled in by Stuart in race two. George C also back for a guest appearance so the spectator viewing is recommended for our non sailing family members.

If someone wants to go out on a rescue boat with a camera, please let me know and I'll sort it!

See you Sunday.

Simon,

I'll be there. We've got Andy Bunyan, Jon Finch, Robert Finch and Marcus Finch coming from Stewpot by the look of things today.

Regards,

Karl P.
