Just had an unusual problem with a rudder - which looks like it was a replacement blade as the number is unusual (WC64).
One of our members has just bought a Sprint and wanted me to check the rudders as one was very tight. The main bolt had been slackened off by several turns so the shoulder washer had dropped off it shoulder - to allow the blade to be lifted.
The problem was that the smaller tiller arm pivot bolt hole has been drilled in the blade at about a 10-15deg angle from perpendicular and when the bolt was done up it was canting the tiller arm over and causing a great deal of friction.
File and fill the hole square and all is now fine and the main bolt can be done up again.
