Carsington Event. Have you seen my sail

[john manning]

For the attention of them that were there on that memorable weekend of Racing. Has anyone picked up a yellow sail bag containing an 18 sail (think big bag but no battens) with sail no 7669 ? My sail (1955) ended up in Christchurch with Richard and is in the process of being returned to me by post. Someone out there will be in for a shock when they next sail and discover the sail. Please check so we can sort this mess out now.

Hi john,
It is a sad tale. Could it have been caused by too many bevies the night before?
I hope that you get the sails back where they belong?
Cheers
Bob
Ps have you thought to put the same message on the dart 18 website?

Hi John. I went to Carsington today to pick up my sailing kit that I had left on the balcony after eating my late lunch a week last Sunday. Apparently there was a yellow bag found on the beach with ropes and stuff inside but that doesn't sound much like a Dart 18 sail. Tom Rothwell at Carsington Sailing Club might be able to help if you haven't already eliminated this lead. Tel: 01629 540609

Hope it gets sorted.
