Sprint 15 success at East Coast Piers Race

Post by Andy B »

East Coast Piers - Colne Point Race won by Mark Bunyan on a Sprint 15 and 4th place for
myself, two very happy and somewhat surprised Stewartby lads.

Excellent result. Well done Mark and Andy, and thank you for supporting the event. There were respectable results for other Sprint 15s too. Full Colne Point listing here http://www.eastcoastpiersrace.com/html/ ... esults.htm

Jenny and I did the full ECPR in her Spitfire scoring 3rd place. A few other past and present Sprint sailors popped up in other boats, including Sam Rowell (Spitfire, ECPR, 6th), Peter Richardson with Fenella Miller (Viper, ECPR, 11th), Kevin Kirby (Viper, Colne Pt, 8th) and Kevin Dowley (Tornado, Colne Pt, 16th).

Jenny, Peter, Kevin K and I will be back to Sprint 15's for next weeks nationals.
