Update from Shanklin

We now have 33 Sprint 15s at the club and have had to move one of our patrol boats into
the small boat park just to get the latest 15 in, we would need to put them on racks to get
any more in. Since August we have had 6 new owners of 15s, 4 boats bought from outside
and we managed to persuade the 2 owners that had not sailed this year to sell their boats
to new members.

We had 11 Sprints go for a cruise this Sunday: that is a record for our
winter cruises. The reason I think we continue to get a good fleet sailing is that out of
about 80 races we put on for Sprints only about 12 are handicap, the rest class racing.
We have about 8 you must race two up and about the same that you must sail
Sports mode; the rest in standard mode.

PS
If anyone knows how to rack 15 without taking the mast down please tell.

Most of the credit has to go to Erling for his policy of ethnic cleansing towards any boat other than a Sprint 15.
