Hi folks, I did a post back in March, about the impending fate of Open Dinghy Club, and got some excellent responses and offers of help- so thank you all Sprint 15 Community.
Now we need some more support. We are hopeful that our local council may look kindly on us and offer us a lease on some suitable land ( subject to all sorts of Planning Permission, & change of use etc). IF, this goes ahead, we can foresee some local opposition to our plans, so we are trying to garner support via a petition. So far over 400 folk, local to our club have signed. Many of you will have sailed at some of the TT's which we had at ODC, so, if you have ever sailed at ODC TT's, or you just want to support us, could you do the following: E mail your name, house no and post code to sos@opendinghy.co.uk. All your support is most welcome.
Cheers Keith FREDDIE 1962
