Retirement

Post by DavidGroom »

After 27 years of sailing multihulls, mostly Dart 18 and Sprint 15 I am now catamaranless having reluctantly sold my 15 as quite simply it is too good a boat to leave unused in our garage. For family reasons it is now very hard to get away for weekends and as this was how I did most of my cat sailing carrying on was not an option.

Can I thank you all for putting up with me and Anonymouse for quite a few years and I wish you all luck in what is your 40th Anniversary year. I hope to appear as a landlubber at Weymouth at the main event (PLEASE ENTER SOON) so hopefully I can say hello and good bye to some of you in person.

For cat sailors life has two certainties d@@@h and racing a Sprint 15

Sorry to lose you to a slow half-boat. Hope you enjoy sailing with your new posh friends.

I shall really miss you mispronouncing my name and letting me overtake you on the downwind legs.
