Shanklin TT 21st/22nd May - Entries now open!

Post by Jenny Ball »

Hi All

Our next TT is at Shanklin down on the South Island. 5 races over two days with the first race scheduled for 12noon on Saturday. Its a lovely venue for sailing and a large home fleet who will hopefully turn out in force!

NOR and SIs are up on the website here: https://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=231

Please enter online here: https://forms.gle/Jp5iAPLmbEHSoBYbA

See you there!

One week to go! Please get your entries in so the organisers know what numbers they are planning for.

Its been nice and sunny here on the East Coast so it must be positively tropical on the South Island - with sandy beaches and great sailing water - its a brilliant venue so get yourself booked in!

See you there

Long way to go but the forecast looks like an offshore force 4-5 all weekend.

We can arrange discounts on ferries if you contact Yvonne on 07787 155800.

We can also put up house-trained sailors. Again contact Yvonne.

There are beer prizes courtesy of local brewer Goddards: https://goddardsbrewery.com/

Forecast still looks perfect.

If anybody wants to use Biscuit they are more than welcome. The boat is in fine fettle, just bring your own sail.

Good to see that Paul has not lost his winning ways. Well done to Jenny for taking 2nd and I see that even the webmaster made the podium
Did we trust Paul with the Southern Trophy (or warn him not to loose it)?

All safely with Jenny. We weren't going to trust the silver to a kayak.

I made a video of the first race on Saturday.

Unfortunately the forward facing camera failed so Paul, Jenny and Hector don't feature much.
