Dart 15 Association & Laser Centre Bulk Buy Deal
We in the Dart 15 Association have once again negotiated a bulk buy special offer for new Dart 15s at a really attractive price (?4200 package deal for boat, trolley and full cover). This is similar to the deal we negotiated with the Laser Centre last year. The Dart 15 Association do the promotion and the marketing of the special offer and pass all the benefits on to our members. Last year we were able to sell 9 boats to grow the class and in consequence 7 second hand boats were sold on. New this year are a) inclusion of a full cover in the deal, b) an option of a new trailer at trade price (?525) c) the Barcelona special addition & graphics (with external water line). We hope we are progressively improving the service we offer our members and providing a way forward for the class (without new boat sales we cannot progress as a class).
The idea is that in exchange for a low price deal, we find the buyers for the Laser Centre. The Laser Centre get the advantages of saving on marketing costs and can batch build a number of boats cost effectively. All the savings get passed on to our members in the form of low cost boats. We have negotiated a super deal. The price of ?4200 for a new Barcelona edition Dart 15 with launching trolley and full cover is a saving of ?657 off the 2001 list price (and ?275 lower than the boat show special offer), and is the lowest price you are ever likely to pay. There are, however, a few catches. The offer is only available this autumn. The Laser Centre want to build the boats in their slack time so a ?420 deposit has to be paid by 30 September and the boats will be delivered in 6-8 weeks. Finance is available at 9.5% APR. Part exchange is possible by separate negotiation with the Laser Centre but, by the way, second hand boats are still selling like hot cakes from our web page.
This is a major way forward, to maintain the interest of the Laser Centre in our boat and offers a real substitute for the Earls Court Boat Show, as the Laser Centre no longer display a Dart 15. We will always remain at the Alexandra Palace Dinghy show as the Class Association pays the rent for the stand and it is a major source of new punters each year.
If you are interested be sure that you get the slip (soon to appear on this web site) filled in and sent in with your ?420 deposit by 30 September.

Here?s hoping it is a major success!
