8 Dart 15s took part in todays Club Racing at Grafham, making us the third biggest class racing (after 14 flying fifteens & 13 Lasers). The wind was F3-F6 and webmaster Jonathan Perkins christened his new boat with a capsize! - sorry Jonathan.

It's a shame I missed the afternoon race by the sounds of it!

Let's hope there's as good a blow for the Pursuit race next weekend.

How's the breaststroke Jonathan? Doesn't the water get cold this time of year?

Yes its definitely getting a bit chilly now! Mind you, it did get all that Grafham mud off the shiny new boat.

There was certainly some good gusts coming through - the wind speed indicator was showing 40mph peak after the afternoon race.

I'm impressed how far into a pitchpole you can push a Dart 15 and still recover. Earlier I had both rudders out of the water, but a quick(!) scramble onto rear beam and up the bows came again.

Jonathan.
