Steve Hanby won it (well done Steve) and his son Richard (+ Sam Jones) were 5th so it was worth the trip from Beaver. Newcomer to the fleet, William Edwards, had his first sail in a Dart 15 and gave some of the Old timers a run for their money (he did sail Hobie 16s off CapeTown before he came to the UK!).
Jenny Ball won the round the Island (Osea) race. The tide caught out many competitors, including George Carter, Paul Smith, Richard Hanby, Joe Bird, all of whome were OCS on one start or another.
Gordon Goldstone won the teach in race (sailed on the dining table with knives as boats- hosted by Nick).
