Down Haul System

Post by Pewing »

Hi

Can somebody please help me out here, I am trying to buy a new downhaul system as I am using the original spec.

What are the part numbers for it and where do I get it from, I have tried doing a search for the information, but I keep getting directions to Draycote.

I would appreciate you help.

Hi Pete
This an extract from the original proposal, so the prices are not current.
Windsport sell the system ready made.

Downhaul

Nature of Modification
1. The use of replacement blocks including optional camcleat style jamming
mechanism to allow a 3:1 purchase and mode of operation that allows
adjustment from further aft than the 'standard' downhaul. See example
illustration (Example RWO part (blocks) cost between £20 and £25). Barton
also do similar parts 860042 (fiddle swivel, bracket & camcleat blocks)
£25.95 and 860035 (single swivel block and bracket) £8.50.

Bob

I was reading the AGM proposals thread & was trying to work out if I was having dejavue or you were having a senior moment until I scrolled down to the bottom & realised it was an archived thread you had reasurected !!

I didn't want to have to go through all that again !!!

Will I see you a Filey or Thorpe Bay next?
