Round Sheppey

Post by Robert »

Kevin wrote a great article in NewSprint about the Round Sheppey race. Is anyone going to follow up and carry on the roll of Sprint 15 entries in events during this Olympic Year? It's on Saturday 1st September - just over a week away! http://www.iossc.org.uk/islandrace/index.php

It would add to The Colne Point Race, Nore Race and I'm sure several others. Sprint 15's have sailed around the Isle of Wight and from Shanklin to Alderney and back. Does anyone know of other outside events or feats in which our class has been represented this year?

I'm doing Sheppey race this year :D , going two up with my brother so hoping for some good wind to make up for the extra weight.
At least there will be no chance of Kevin lapping me unlike at the Nationals

Yes this is one race that I wouldn't fancy doing an extra lap!
