Newsprint Spring 2014

Hi Folks/Readers,
I'm just starting to think about the next issue of your favourite magazine ready for the next issue - Spring 2014.
I'm a little sad/despondent
,mainly due to the fact that I have VERY LITTLE in the way of interesting articles to publish. Sure there will be the usual event reports but these are generally old news and are all on the website and in Y&Y anyway.
There will be a Dinghy Show report and regular features like Windsport's excellent tips page, so that's all good but that's about it.
I think this is the first time in nearly eight years as your editor that I've found myself short of articles that are new and fresh and not seen before. At the end of the day, I can only publish what I've got - and right now that's not a lot.
Might I therefore entice a few wordsmiths amongst you to come up with some new stuff. I'll be most grateful and more importantly, the readers will love it. Some suggestions - what's happening at your club, anything even remotely S15/sailing related, any tittle tattle from around the circuit/your club/your sailing buddies, any tips you have of your own to pass on, any sailing trips/cruising you might have undertaken, any lies that can be dressed up as truth without being slanderous or libellous! (Have a look at some back copies for inspiration, if that helps)
Standing by to be deluged with good stuff - remember, it's your magazine and I for one would like to keep it going. I'm sure you do too!
