Yep I am coming-first sail since mid April so I am working out a way of laminating Brian's book so I can take it out on the water with me.

The notice of race is on this website and we are hoping for good winds. This is the last of the Summer traveller series. it looks like Paul has wrapped up the series and also Chris Tillyer is safe in Second place but Erling could be knocked off his 3rd place perch
There is still the Inland Championship to fight for.
Hope to see a big attendance for what is usually the biggest traveller event of the series.
Cheers

Expecting at least 4 from Marconi, myself included, and likely a few more. Looking forward to it.

A number of the Grafham Old guard (Richard Philpott, Thomas Sandal, etc) are threatening to take part so it could be a bad day for spiders as the cobwebs will get swept away
It will be better still if it is windy and the A Class owners (Mark Aldridge & Steve Sawford) chicken out and sail their 15s instead. I hear that as he is getting older :D mark has been seen out in the wrong 15 lately....... One of those misnamed to be flying :o .
There is rumoured to be a full house of the Sprint 15 Association Committee as Herr Fuhrer (Gordon) has called a committee meeting. It is plan b to increase the attendance at our traveller meeting.........

Yes Bob, it's true.

We're having a committee meeting on the Saturday evening at Grafham.

How sad it is that we hardly see a Grafham sailor at an away event these days.
What a change from the old days when you were sailing.

But hoping for a good show this time.

Regards
Gordon

Forecast looks good with wind and no rain. Should encourage a decent turnout but will be cold so thermals and silly hats a must

Any chance we can leave our boats at Stewartby after the Grafham event?
Here's hoping for the affirmative……..
