What's in a name?

Sprint 15 and Dart 18 designs certainly have a closer blood line than that of the Dart 16.
I don't have a strong view either way about the name. I can see the synergy argument and sailor crossover obviously does happen a little.
I have to disagree with the view that the 'Dart name and logo is overall more aesthetic'. As far as I'm aware both of the scripts used for the Dart 18 have not changed since the 70s and personally that's the era I think those logos look as though they come from. That is not in itself a bad thing, but does not, in my view, suggest new and exciting to a potential class recruit or purchaser.
The Sprint Hull/ magazine logo and the arrow head sail insignia look more modern and attractive to me. Take a look at a fleet picture and let eveyone know your opinion..
