Great event - thanks to Liam, Yvonne and all the teams at Yaverland and Shanklin that made it possible. You even made the weather summer again!

Congratulations to Sean McKenna as our 2021 National Champion and to Hector for coming a close second - it was a hard fought regatta right to the finish.

Thank you to all the competitors for taking part an hope you all had/have a safe journey home.

I wrote some words: https://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=219

If any of it is wrong it is because I was too far back to see it.

Well done Sean and anyone else that could get their boats going in those conditions.

Wonderfully welcoming club and organisation made for a cracking few days away.

My thanks to all at Shanklin and Yaverland for a superbly organised event.
I would mention a particular shout out to the energetic beach team for getting me on the water and, more importantly, getting this tired old man off the water at the end of the day with their vim and vigour to get the boat back in the boat park with consummate ease - nice work, guys.
A most memorable event in the widest sense for all the right reasons - what a great class and community this is :D And what superb hospitality by Yaverland - you set the bar very high!
Congratulations to Sean for great sailing in the most tricky conditions whilst being hard pressed all the way by Hector, Angus and Liam - a masterclass in light wind sailing from the front runners as the results testify.
