Thorpe Bay Winter TT - Postponed

Hi All
We have been monitoring the forecast like hawks all week and noting the Storm Eunice and her aftermath are refusing to budge from Friday and across the weekend.
As such, Thorpe Bay YC and I have taken the decision that the Winter TT cannot go ahead as planned on Saturday.
Driving/towing won't be great and anyone who did the 2017 Nationals will know what TBYC beach is like in 20knots of onshore wind - let alone the 30 - 40 knots currently forecast for Saturday.
I have asked if its possible to reschedule the TT for two weeks' time. Thorpe Bay are kindly reviewing whether this is feasible and will let us know in due course.
Please pencil Saturday 5th March provisionally in your diary - and we will update either way once TBYC have had a chance to see what's possible.
