Looking for a February Winter TT venue

Post by Jenny Ball »

Hi All

I am looking for a Winter TT venue for February 2023. The past few years have been at Thorpe Bay - but as they are hosting our Nationals next year, they are unlikely to be up for a Winter TT as well.

We generally go to lakes (TBYC was an anomaly on that front!).

We have been to Oxford in the past but currently don't have a fleet there.
Queen Mary is a possibility - we have one member there that I know of
Datchet is another past location - although no fleet there either (as far as I know).
Any other ideas?

Before I approach any of the above - would be interested in fleet member views? In particular, if you would be willing to attend an event at any or all of the above?
No point me approaching a "new" venue if no-one wants to go!

(Note: our other winter venues are Stewartby, Rutland, Draycote and Grafham).

Is Marconi or Stone an option? They both have good size home fleets.

PS Brightlingsea could be another option
