Trapeze lines

Hi all,
I don't (yet) own a harness but a few weeks ago one of my sailing friends crewed for me, and when she tried to get out on the wires she found that the hook position was too low (even with the adjuster fully shortened). She's crewed for other 15s in the club so knows what it should feel like. I'm wondering if I've somehow enden up with some Dart 18 wires by mistake... can anyone tell me what the length should be, from the top crimped loop to the top of the plastic handle please? Also, does anyone know if Steve or Brian can offer bespoke lengths for particularly tall sailors please?
Thanks.
J.

According to our rules the wire should be between 3863 and 3883mm.

The bottom of the metal ring should be somewhere near the deck for trapezing when going to windward.

But you should be able to shorten it for lighter conditions and lengthen it for reaching.

Hi, Whilst the wire length has proven to suit all heights of crew the length of the adjuster line is sometimes slightly lengthened or shortened to suit a sailors personal preference.
