It is with much sadness that we hear that Chris Black died on Saturday 26 July after a long fight against cancer.
Chris was a leading member of the Grafham Catamaran fleet for more than 30 years. The last 15 years or so he sailed a Sprint 15 and was a regular at our National championships and in the Winter Series, as well as a regular sailor at Grafham.
Details of his funeral for those who would like to attend are as follows:
We have arranged the funeral for Wednesday August 13th at 1.45pm at the Norse Road Crematorium in Bedford -and afterwards at the Swan Hotel , the Embankment, Bedford.
I hope that date is going to be convenient for you and as many sailors as possible.I have already had some very kind words of tribute sent and I will be grateful if you can help to spread the word.
