Nationals Update

Post by DavidGroom »

Weather looking good for the event with moderate wind and sunshine so sailing in the Bay will be spectacular like last time we were there.

So come all those who have not entered get your a@@@s into gear and watch Paul win, all the new boats at the top end of the fleet Liam struggle upwind with or without his makeup bag and me consider whether I need to lever my second but cheek over the side.

Seriously great location well worth the travel and an event not to be missed

P:S Strong rumours of sponsored freebies ( or more honestly freebie) for all competitors
P:P:S Bring those Sprint flags let's see how many of the twenty can be flown at once.

I can see force 5 gusting 6 for Sunday week. Am ignoring it anyway.

The TERA Nationals are taking place at Pwllheli on the Sat, Sun and Monday bank holiday weekend so the venue Plas Heli will be busy while we are there. The new sailing centre is very smart and well able to cope with multiple events at the same time. Good chance to show the cat and cat sailing to a young crowd.

As to wind forecast, wait a few days before making predictions, local effects in Cardigan Bay can turn a BBC or Windguru forecast on its head.
