Draycote winter TT - Notice of race

Post by pmslater »

Happy new year to everyone and I hope you have all remembered the Draycote Winter TT taking place next Saturday 8th Jan.

There will be two races back to back
First race at 11:00 am
Signing on from 9:30 am and briefing at 10:15am
Entry fee is £12.00 per boat.

Please note that because of the killer shrimp problem boats need to be hosed down before launching. Please allow a bit of extra time for this and report to the bosun on arrival at the lake. Wash down facilities will be provided.

We have had excellent attendance levels in the past few years and so it should be a great event.

See you next week

Pete.

My boats packed and on the trailer, looking forward to getting on the water and meeting up with all my chums.

Just in case anyone has forgot, the Inter Club challenge stands at 1 - 0 to team Carsington in the five match series

Happy New Year

My boat is ready too. Small job necessary on trailer. Hope the water isn't too hard again.

Hosing Down

Post by George Stephen »

Pete,

Whereabouts will we visitors have our boats hosed down? Does this mean we have to take a different route through/past the boat park and clubhouse from the one we've used in previous years?

Where will we find the bosun?

Hi George,
You will need to turn right just before the clubhouse and park up right next to the clubhouse.
If you then see myself or the bosun we will direct you to the hose down area and you can wash the boat down and then drive back round to the usual area for launching.
Cheers
Pete.

That'll be great at -5 degrees first thing in the morning. Will our hose down certificates from Grafham suffice, or do we need to be hosed down if we've been to Stewartby since, but nowhere else?
