Sprint 15 Training weekend ?

Post by Steve Willis »

Hi all,

The Seasalter SC Sprint 15 fleet continues to grow, with 3 more recent arrivals we now have 29.

As a number of our newer helms (either to the club or the fleet) will be needing a training weekend sometime, is there any interest from other fleet members in joining us if we sort out a suitable date through the Association.

It seems to work best if we can get 10-15 boats together and I suspect we would have 5-8 of ours who would want to attend. Cost is normally around £20-25 plus meals - with half going to the Association and the rest to cover our club costs.

Best wishes

Steve

Thanks Bob and Simon,

I will sort out some possible dates this coming weekend with our instructor team. I have another 'away' helm already interested as well.

Hopefully the TT will be less arduous this year.

The other fleets are growing as well and we now have 2 Topaz 14C/CX in the cat fleet and this week saw the arrival of the first Topaz Argo in the dinghies - something we are possibly looking to get for 'family' sized club boats.

I hope we will see a good number from SSC at Thorpe Bay as well.

Best wishes

Steve
